Melida's Velvet Boutique we value quality craftsmanship, which is why we have the most seasoned bridal seamstresses in the area available to make your perfect dress a perfect fit.

If you are one of our valued customers please call for an appointment before your Bridal poetry date or wedding day.

Bring your wedding shoes to your first fitting. Also, bring any foundation garments you would like to wear under your dress. We have cups, bras and slips available so no need to run around looking for those.

Your dress will be altered in our state-of-the-art alterations department. When you arrive for your alterations appointment here are a few things to expect:

You will be pinned or “fitted” to perfection.

You will be given an appointment for 2 to 4 weeks out.

When you return to try on your fitted dress, most of the alterations should be complete.

However, tailoring is not a perfect science so it may require a final appointment to finalize your fit.

At our boutique, we are committed to perfecting the fit of your wedding dress through our specialized in-house alterations. Our experienced seamstress will meticulously examine every detail of your dream gown and guide you through any adjustments or customizations you desire. To ensure a seamless experience, we recommend starting the alteration process at least six weeks prior to your wedding day. If you're on a tight timeline, please reach out to our boutique to arrange for expedited services so that you receive your dress in time for your big moment. Remember to bring your shoes and undergarments to all appointments for the most accurate fit. Even if you didn’t purchase your wedding dress from us, we’re more than happy to assist with alterations to make sure you feel radiant as you walk down the aisle!
